The Dance of the Wildflowers is my first solo exhibition – a heartfelt celebration of wildness, inspired by the native wildflowers that grow abundantly across the Noosa and Sunshine Coast region.
Over the past year, I found myself falling in love with the quiet magic of wildflower walks – exploring the Wallum landscape, learning about the resilience and beauty of these untamed florals, and feeling deeply moved by their presence. It was a natural merging of this newfound curiosity and my creative practice that led to this body of work.
Through oil paintings, charcoal works, and floral installations, this exhibition explores the themes of impermanence, grace, and raw strength.
Each piece is an invitation to witness the wild – not only in the land around us, but in the quiet, untamed corners of ourselves.
